An effective acceptance decision serves as a historical record that explains why a specific iteration was deemed suitable for its intended application. This document outlines the framework for translating visual and dimensional observations into actionable technical conclusions. It focuses on clarity, removing ambiguity from the handoff process between prototyping and end-use production. By formalizing this step, we ensure that every team member understands the justification behind a part's movement into the next phase of development.

A decision without a recorded 'why' is just a guess that hasn't failed yet. Documentation turns a subjective opinion into a repeatable standard.

Technical Protocol

The protocol for drafting these decisions relies on a structured hierarchy of information. By following a consistent template, teams can avoid the common pitfalls of vague feedback like "looks good" or "feels off."
